This guide will walk you through creating your first project with Artivision. By the end, you'll have a working application deployed to a live URL.
Prerequisites
- An Artivision account (sign up free at artivision.ai)
- A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)
Step 1: Create a New Project
From your dashboard, click the "New Project" button. You'll see a prompt asking you to describe your application.
Try something like:
Build a task management app with:
- User authentication (email/password)
- Project boards with columns (To Do, In Progress, Done)
- Drag-and-drop task organization
- Dark mode supportStep 2: Watch the Generation
Artivision's AI will analyze your request and generate a complete application. You'll see:
- File tree being created in real-time
- Code appearing in the editor
- Live preview updating as files are generated
This typically takes 30-60 seconds depending on complexity.
Step 3: Preview Your App
Once generation completes, your app is immediately available in the preview panel. Click around, test the features, and verify everything works as expected.
Step 4: Make Adjustments
Use the chat to request changes:
- "Change the primary color to blue"
- "Add a settings page with profile editing"
- "Make the sidebar collapsible on mobile"
Step 5: Deploy
When you're happy with your app, click "Deploy" in the top toolbar. Your app will be live in seconds with a URL like your-app.artivision.app.
